Lesure, Meczywor Lead Hoosac Valley Girls Past Central

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Emma Meczywor and Ashlyn Lesure each scored five goals Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 17-3 win over Springfield Central at Berkshire Community College's Dellea Field.

 

Jacinta Felix and Lauren Davis each had a hat trick, and Karyssa Charon and Mallory Mazzeo each scored a goal.

 

"We moved the ball beautifully down the field today - something we've worked on this week - which allowed us to use our speed," Hoosac Valley coach Molly Meczywor said. "Lauren Davis was outstanding in creating offense. Overall, we had good team energy and a lot of small wins all over the field."

 

Kennedy Whitely ad Treazure Pridgen split time in the Hoosac Valely goal, combining for 10 saves.

 

The Hurricanes (7-1) play Pittsfield on Friday back at BCC.
