Bresett, DiGennaro Lead Hoosac Valley Girls Lax Past Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Claudia Bresett and Brooke DiGennaro each scored five goals Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 14-9 win over Pittsfield.

 

Chloe Martel and Alie Mendel each scored a pair, and Abi Disbrow made 14 saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Pittsfield’s Sierra Murray scored five to reach 40 goals for the season, setting a record for the Pittsfield/Taconic cooperative team.

 

Ashley Rufo scored a pair, and Anna Quinto stopped 13 shots in Pittsfield’s goal.

 

The Generals (4-8) are home against St. Mary’s on Wednesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (9-2) goes to Lee on Thursday.
