Disbrow Backstops Hoosac Valley Girls to Win

LEE, Mass. -- Abi Disbrow stopped six shots Friday to backstop the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to an 8-6 win over Lee.

Sara Tomkiewicz, Claudia Bresett and Aubrey Rumbolt scored two goals apiece for the Hurricanes. Alie Mendel and Faith Hall each scored once in the win.

Annie Macchi had a hat trick, and Bridey Nicotra and Taryn Paul combined to stop 13 shots for Lee (1-1).

The Wildcats travel to face Pittsfield on Monday.

Hoosac Valley (2-1) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
