McCann Tech Girls Lacrosse Drops Opener at Hampshire

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. – Mary Thibault scored four goals Friday to lead the Hampshire girls lacrosse team to a 15-2 win over McCann Tech.

 

Taylor Ziemba and Gabby Wells-Vidal each scored a goal for the Hornets, who fell behind, 9-0, in the first quarter.

 

“Once we got into a rhythm on defense, we were able to limit goals,” McCann Tech coach Christian Chenail said.

 

Emily Rashdorf made 21 saves in McCann Tech’s goal.

 

The Hornets (0-1) are at Chicopee on Monday.
