Ballinger Leads Wildcats Past Springfield Central

LEE, Mass. – Libby Ballinger scored six goals and forced three turnovers Tuesday to lead the Lee girls lacrosse team to an 18-2 win over Springfield Central.

 

Ballinger also assisted on a goal and scooped four ground balls.

 

Hailey Tobler scored three times, and Kelly Nicotra, Phoenix Lucido, Ashley Sonsini, Tessa Baldwin and Netti Boyko each scored a pair of goals.

 

Sierra Beckman stopped four shots in Lee’s goal.

 

The Wildcats (6-1) host Pittsfield on Friday.
