Stripp's Six Goals Lift Mount Greylock at Lee

LEE, Mass. -- Sarah Stripp scored six goals and assisted on a seventh Thursday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 17-11 win over Lee.

 

Caroline Flynn scored five times, and Clare Sheedy had a hat trick plus two assists for Mount Greylock, which got 10 saves from Autumn Delorey.

 

Emma Bartini scored four goals, and Meryl Phair had a hat trick for Lee, which trailed by six at half-time but played the Mounties even in the last 25 minutes.

 

Taryn Paul had 10 saves for Lee (2-7), which goes to Belchertown on Friday.

 

Mount Greylock (7-3) hosts West Springfield on Saturday.
