Barrett Hits Milestone on Senior Night

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Mount Greylock senior Lucy Barrett scored her 200th career point on Wednesday in an 18-12 Senior Night win over Lee.

 

Late in the first half, Sarah Stripp set up Barrett for the goal that got Barrett to the milestone, and in so doing, Stripp reached a milestone of her own, recording her 100th point of the season.

 

Barrett came into the game needing six points to reach 200. She finished with six goals and three assists.

 

Emma Polumbo scored four goals with an assist, and Stripp finished with a hat trick and two assists. Caroline Flynn scored a goal with three assists.

 

The teams traded goals throughout the first half, which ended with Mount Greylock holding an 11-9 lead. The Mounties scored five quick goals to open the second half and create some separation.

 

Alyssa Kelly scored six goals with three assists for Lee (6-7), which hosts St. Mary's on Thursday.

 

Mount Greylock (18-2) awaits its seeding and opponent in the upcoming sectional tournament.
