Amherst Girls Lax Downs Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Abi Como scored three goals and set up two more Tuesday to lead the Amherst-Pelham girls lacrosse team to a 13-7 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Ashlyn Lesure scored a game-high four goals and made two assists. Jacinta Felix finished with two goals and two assists.

 

“Our downfall was transitioning from offense to defense,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly West said. “Maryn Cappiello, R3agan Shea and Peyton Choquette played a tough, aggressive defensive game today. Kennedy Whitely (14 saves) continues to improve every game and she had some wonderful saves.”

 

The Hurricanes (4-2) host Chicopee Comp on Friday.
