Gamberoni Leads Lenox Back to Western Mass Final
LENOX, Mass. – Luke Gamberoni scored four goals and set up four more Thursday to lead the Lenox boys lacrosse team to a 19-2 win over Smith Vocational in the Western Massachusetts Class C Semi-Finals.
Liam Trask, Kitson Stover, Paul Naventi and Shaler Larmon each had a hat trick in a balanced scoring attack for Lenox, which won its third straight in a stretch when it has averaged about 18 goals per game.
Jeffrey Larmon stopped seven shots in Lenox’s goal. Dylan DiNino spelled Larmon and made three saves.
Lenox (13-5) moves on to Tuesday’s regional final at Berkshire Community College, where it will face either Hoosac Valley or Granby, who meet on Friday in Cheshire.
