Manning, Lynch Lead Pittsfield Boys Lax in Opener

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Mitchel Manning and Ray Lynch each scored four goals Thursday to lead the Pittsfield boys lacrosse team to a 12-7 win over Hoosac Valley at BCC.

 

Javon Jones finished with a goal and an assist.

 

Jake Salvie and Jackson Jezewski did a strong job on faceoffs for the PHS-Taconic cooperative squad, coach J. Noah Tullock said.

 

Hunter Christman made seven saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Pittsfield (1-0) hosts McCann Tech on Monday.

 

Hoosac Vallley (0-1) hosts Monson on Monday.
