Quinto Scores Seven to Lead Pittsfield Boys Lax Past Monument

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Kevin Quinto scored seven goals and set up four more to lead the Pittsfield boys lacrosse team to a 17-5 win over Monument Mountain on Wednesday.

Sean Baruch, Ryan Jacoby, Josh Kozlowski and DeShane Johnson each scored a pair, and Cam Giardina had three assists for the Generals, who got five saves from Nikolai Pixley.

Jonah Swotes and Jack Gibson combined to make seven stops for Monument Mountain (5-3), which got three goals from Joe LaBrasca and a pair of assists from Homer Winston.

Pittsfield (3-3) travels to Monson on Thursday.
