Ortega Leads Pittsfield Boys Past Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Dante Ortega had a hat trick to lead the Pittsfield boys lacrosse team to a 14-2 win over Taconic on Thursday.

 

Cam Giradina had two goals and two assists, and Cam Volastro scored twice for the Generals (3-4).

 

Nikolai Pixley made eigh saves to get the win in goal.

 

Taconic got goals from Brad Cobb and Roy Martin.

 

Taconic (0-6) travels to St. Mary's on Monday.

 

Pittsfield hosts Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
