Monument Boys Lax Holds Off Chicopee

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Connor Parkinson scored four goals, and Jake Parkinson had five assists to lead the Monument Mountain boys lacrosse team to a 10-7 win over Chicopee on Monday.

The Spartans (5-2) led 7-2 at half-time, but Chicopee crept back into it with a 3-0 third quarter before Monument Mountain was able to right the ship.

Jonah Swotes made 13 saves for Monument, which was outshot by a margin of 20-16.

The Spartans travel to face Pittsfield on Wednesday.
