Parkinson Leads Monument Boys Lax Past Wahconah
DALTON, Mass. -- Jake Parkinson scored six goals and set up two more to lead the Monument Mountain boys lacrosse team to a 13-9 win over Wahconah on Monday.
Matt DiSilva had a hat trick, and Joe LaBrasca scored a goal and added four assists for the Spartans (3-1).
“We lost the ground ball game today,” Wahconah coach Zach Sondrini said. “We had a complete lack of intensity on ground balls and lack of awareness on defense. We lost our cutters and didn’t communicate on slides. Jake Parkinson ran right through our defense.”
Connor Washburn scored five goals, and Wyatt Schliecher had a goal and three assists for Wahconah (2-1), which hosts Granby on Tuesday.
Monument hosts Mount Greylock on Saturday.
