Wellspeak Leads Mount Greylock Boys Lacrosse Past Amherst

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Michael Wellspeak scored four goals, and the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team bounded back from its first loss of the season with a 12-5 win over Amherst on Wednesday afternoon.

 

Owen Politis had a hat trick, and Mac Waynick scored a goal and assisted on two more. Alex Falk and Nick Belouin each scored twice for the Mounties (2-1).

 

David Falk made 11 saves to earn the win between the pipes.

 

Mount Greylock goes to Northampton on Friday.
