Parker Propels Mount Greylock Boys Lax Past Monument

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Riley Parker scored seven goals and set up four more on Saturday to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to an 18-5 win over Monument Mountain.

Patrick Storie had four goals and four assists, and Thomas Astle and Sean McCormack each had a hat trick for the Mounties (6-0).

Jake Parkinson and Connor Parkinson provided the scoring for the Spartans with three and two goals, respectively.

Jonah Swotes stopped 12 shots in a losing effort.

Cal Filson had four saves for Mount Greylock, which travels to Wahconah on Tuesday.

Monument Mountain (4-2) goes to Pittsfield on Wednesday.
