Cohasset Downs Wahconah in State Quarter-Finals

COHASSET, Mass. -- Shane Mulachy scored five goals, and Liam Appleton added four Sunday to lead the Cohasset boys lacrosse team to a 16-6 win over Wahconah in the Division 4 State Tournament Quarter-Finals.

 

Jon Howard had a hat trick, and Brody Calvert scored a pair of goals for eighth-seeded Wahconah (17-1).

 

Rylan Padelford scored a goal, and Luciano Canino had an assist in the loss.

 

Bryce Smith stopped 13 shots for Wahoncah.

 

Top-seeded Cohasset (18-2) moves on to the state semi-finals against Weston (14-5).
