Schliecher, Washburn Lead Wahconah Boys Past McCann Tech

DALTON, Mass. -- Wyatt Schliecher scored five goals Tuesday to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to a 14-1 win over McCann Tech.

Connor Washburn scored four goals and assisted on three others, and Dart Jaggi had a hat trick for Wahconah (6-4), which got eight saves from Vinny Orlandi and Joe Whitaker.

Mike Moreno scored on an assist from Nick Lincoln, and Nico Romano made 10 saves for McCann Tech (0-9), which hosts Hoosac Valley on Friday.

Wahconah hosts St. Mary’s of Wesfield on Thursday.
