Girard's Four Goals Lead Wahconah Boys to Victory

DALTON, Mass. -- Jeremy Girard scored four goals and set up a fifth Saturday to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to a 13-4 win over Taconic.

Dart Jaggi and Connor Washburn each had a hat trick, and Wyatt Schliecher scored twice in the victory.

Wahconah’s Vinny Orlandi and Joe Whitaker combined to stop nine shots between the pipes.

Kevyn Harris had a hat trick, and Brad Cobb scored a goal for Taconic (2-6), which got nine saves from Troy Schwatzer.

Taconic goes to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.

Wahconah (5-4) hosts McCann Tech on Tuesday.
