Hoosac Valley Routs Monson in Opener

MONSON, Mass. – Adan Wicks and Jayden Tatro each had a hat trick last week to lead the Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team to a 14-1 win over Monson in the Hurricanes’ season opener.

 

Tatro added a pair of assists in the win.

 

Owen Taylor and Cam Odvar each scored a pair of goals.

 

Max Griffin picked up the win in goal with five saves for the Hurricanes, who jumped out to a 7-1 lead after one quarter.

 

Hoosac Valley (1-0) goes to Pittsfield on Thursday.
