Hoosac Valley Finishes Regular Season Unbeaten

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Luke Waterman and Carson Meczywor scored four goals apiece Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team to a 12-11 win over West Springfield.

 

The Hurricanes outscored the Terrirers, 5-1, in the fourth quarter to finish the regular season with a perfect 18-0 record.

 

Waterman had two assists for a game-high six points.

 

Neil Brierly, Owen Taylor, Aaron Bush and Cam Taylor each found the back of the net.

 

Matt Tassone made 10 saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Hoosac Valley awaits its first round opponent for the state tournament that gets under way later this month.
