Waterman Leads Hurricanes in Another Blowout Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Luke Waterman scored five goals Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team to a 15-0 win over Springfield Central.

 

Carson Meczywor had two goals and six assists, and Zack Lillie scored a pair for the Hurricanes, who were up, 11-0, at half-time.

 

Matt Tassone and Will Broadwell combined to make five saves as Hoosac Valley posted its third shutout of the year and completed a season sweep of Central.

 

The Hurricanes (8-0) host Smith Vocational on Thursday.
