Waterman, Meczywor Lead Hoosac Valley in Season-Opening Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Luke Waterman and Carson Meczywor each scored four goals Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team to an 18-1 win over Springfield Central.

 

Cam Taylor had a hat trick, and Neil Brierley and Aaron Bush each scored twice in the Hurricanes' season-opening win.

 

Matt Tassone and Will Broadwell combined to stop five shots and earn the win in goal.

 

Hoosac Valley (1-0) goes to Pittsfield on Thursday.
