Meczywor, Waterman Lead Hoosac Valley Boys to Seventh Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Justin Meczywor and Nick Waterman each scored four goals Saturday to lead the unbeaten Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team to a 13-5 win over Taconic at Berkshire Community College.

 

Waterman added a pair of assists in a six-point day. Casey Meczywor had two goals and four assists. The Hurricanes (7-0) also got goals from Liam Feely, Dave Critelli and Vance Eugene.

 

Brady Larkin stopped eight shots to earn the win between the pipes.

 

Tim Carroll had a hat trick, and Ian Hadsell scored twice for Taconic.

 

Taconic (1-3) goes to Lee on Monday.

 

Hoosac Valley goes to Mount Greylock on Monday.
