Chicopee Boys Lacrosse Tops Hoosac Valley

CHICOPEE, Mass. -- Dan Vasquez scored five goals and added five assists Friday to lead the Chicopee boys lacrosse team to a 15-3 win over Hoosac Valley.

Nick Waterman scored two goals, and Tyler Jayko added one for the Hurricanes, who were able to stay with Chicopee early on, trailing just 5-2 after one quarter, but a short bench caught up with Hoosac.

Cam Alibozek and Brady Larkin combined to stop 15 shots for Hoosac Valley (1-3), which hosts Taconic on Tuesday.
