Belchertown Boys Top Taconic Lacrosse

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Four different Belchertown Orioles scored four goals apiece Saturday as Belchertown’s boys lacrosse team defeated Taconic, 21-5 at Berkshire Community College.

 

Sal Amaral had a hat trick, and Tim Carroll had a goal and an assist for Taconic. Billy Ellis scored a goal, and Sean Soper had two assists in a losing cause.

 

Justin Thompson stopped 14 shots in Taconic’s goal.

 

Taconic (2-9) hosts Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
