Hart, Hornets Win on Road

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – Parker Hart scored five goals and set up three more Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to an 11-7 win over Belchertown.

 

Cole Maxwell and Dallas Ritcher each scored a pair of goals, and Brody Rhinemiller stopped 14 shots to earn the win in goal.

 

“Good team win,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “This is only the second time that we’ve been on a lined field and our players made significant improvements since our first game.

 

“Parker Hart had a very strong day on offense. He and Cole Maxwell had success controlling possession on faceoffs. Musa Thompson played one of his best games by facilitating the offense. Our young defense rallied behind good goalie play by Brody Rhinemiller.”

 

McCann Tech (1-1) hosts Chicopee Comprehensive on Thursday.
