McCann Tech Edged by Smith Vocational

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The Smith Vocational boys lacrosse team Monday edged McCann Tech, 10-7.

 

Cole Maxwell had a hat trick to lead the Hornets.

 

"We battled against a playoff team for four quarters,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “Our young guys have consistently developed with strong veteran leadership.”

 

Parker Hart, who registered his 100th point on Saturday against Lenox, had a goal and two assists. And Dallas Ritcher, Musa Thompson and Connor Packard each scored a goal.

 

Jake Peckham stopped eight shots in McCann Tech’s goal.

 

The Hornets (1-13) host St. Mary’s on Wednesday.
