Hornets Edge Central for First Win

NORTH ADAMS, Masss. – Brody Rhinemiller made 17 saves, and the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team Thursday earned its first win of the season, edging Springfield Central, 7-6.

 

Parker Hart, Cole Maxwell and Dallas Ritcher each scored a pair of goals for the Hornets. Tyler Kruzyna scored once.

 

Hart assisted on three goals to finish with five points.

 

“We rallied around each other and especially Brody Rhinemiller, who had a very solid day in net,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “Parker Hart continued to dominate face offs.  We look forward to building off of this momentum.”

 

McCann Tech (1-7) travels to Granby on Saturday for the first of two straight games against the Rams.
