Granby Boys Lax Tops McCann Tech in OT

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The Granby boys lacrosse team Monday handed McCann Tech a 6-5 loss in overtime.

 

Max Morin had a hat trick, and Parker Hart scored twice and set up a pair of goals for the Hornets, who got nine saves from Brody Rhinemiller.

 

“Our kids worked hard,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “Unfortunately, we weren’t able to close at the end of the game when we had the lead. Our defense played very well. Without a doubt, Granby has the best goalie in the league.”

 

McCann Tech (6-7) goes to Springfield Central on Wednesday.
