McCann Tech Earns Second Straight Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Lucan McGrath had a hat trick, and Brody Rhinemiller made eight saves Thursday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to a 7-3 win over St. Mary’s.

 

Max Morin had two goals and three assists, and Parker Hart scored a pair of goals for the Hornets.

 

“Cole Maxwell had a very good game at faceoff,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “We maintained possession on nearly 90% of the face offs. Collectively, our team played the entire field defensively.

 

Brody Rhinemiller continues to improve in net and made some key saves. We are excited to play PHS and Hoosac next week.”

 

McCann Tech (4-4) has won two straight after a four-game skid that included losses to both the Hurricanes and Generals.

 

The Hornets host Pittsfield on Wednesday.
