Ghidotti, Darian Tovani Help Lead McCann Tech Boys Lax on Road

PALMER, Mass. -- Colby Ghidotti and Darian Tovani each had a hat trick Thursday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to an 11-4 win over Pathfinder.

 

Ghidotti added three assists to go with his three goals, and Keegan Dellaghelva and Dakota Hayes each made six saves in the Hornets’ goal.

 

“This was another good opportunity for us to spread around some playing time, and therefore some scoring,” McCann Tech coach Paul Lange said. “Our starters all played well, but what was most impressive was how well our depth played. Dakota Hayes was awesome in goal during the second half.

 

“Connor Berard played hard and was rewarded with his first points. Evan Drawec scored a goal right off a faceoff. It energized our bench to see those guys produce.

 

McCann Tech (8-5) hosts Springfield Central on Tuesday.
