Wellspeak's Six Goals Lift Mount Greylock Boys on the Road

LEE, Mass. -- Michael Wellspeak scored six goals and set up three more Monday to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to an 18-4 win over Lee.

 

Taylor Cummings scored four goals, and Hoby MacWhinnie had a hat trick for the Mounties, who got a goal and three assists from Mac Waynick.

 

David Falk stopped six shots and gave up two scores in the Mount Greylock goal.

 

Homer Winston scored twice, and Brock Bauman and Tag Roosa each had a goal for Lee (9-6), which goes to West Springfield on Wednesday.

 

Mount Greylock (12-4) is at Pittsfield on Wednesday.
