Less than 24 hours after playing a highly emotional battle against its cross town rival, the McCann Tech baseball team crossed the commonwealth and never got on track in an 8-1 loss to Upper Cape Tech in the State Vocational Tournament on Wednesday.

May 28 - McCann Tech Edges Drury to Win Regional Tourney
Dylan Turner went 2-for-3 with an RBI to give his team a 3-0 lead in the fourth, and then he left the bases loaded in the sixth and seventh innings to secure a 3-2 win over rival Drury in front of a big crowd at Joe Wolfe Field in the Class C Championship Game.

May 23 - Howland's Walkoff Hit Sends Hornets to Final
Jacob Howland hit a two-out RBI single to score the winning run in the bottom of the seventh Thursday as McCann Tech topped Greenfield, 5-4, in the semi-final round of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.
