McGrath Throws One-Hitter as Hoosac Tops Lenox

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley’s Keagan McGrath struck out seven and walked three in throwing a one-hitter for a 1-0 win over Lenox on Saturday.

 

At the plate, McGrath went 2-for-3 to lead a five-hit Hoosac Valley attack.

 

J.P. Levesque singled and scored a run, and John Krol and Sam Larabee each had a hit for the Hurricanes (11-6), who host Mount Greylock on Sunday afternoon.

 

Connor Hanson had the base hit for Lenox (11-9). He also was the the hard-luck loser on the mound, allowing no earned runs.
