Berkshire County Umpires Honor Graduated High Schoolers

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Berkshire County Baseball Umpires Association held its sixth annual scholarship golf tournament at the GEAA on Sunday.

 

Funds raised through the tournament are awarded annually to graduating Berkshire County senior baseball players at the post-tournament banquet. 

 

The 2021 recipients of scholarships include:

 

Most Valuable Player 2021

Jack Carpenter, Mount Everett/Wesleyan University

Anton Lazits, Taconic/Columbia University

 

Ray Pearson Sportsmanship Award 2021

Christian Marchbanks, Pittsfield/RPI

Brendan Stannard, Taconic/Williams College
