Taconic's Matt Lee No-Hits Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Taconic’s Matt Lee struck out 12 in no-hitting Pittsfield on Wednesday at Buddy Pellerin Field.

 

Evan Blake went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and six runs batted in, and Taconic took a 4-0 lead in the first en route completing a three-game sweep of its city rival.

 

Leo Arace, Bo Bramer and Matt Lee each doubled for Taconic, which improved to 13-0 going to Tuesday’s season finale against Lenox.

 

Christian Marchbanks got the start on the mound for Pittsfield. He went 3-⅔ innings, striking out five.

 

The Generals (8-4) finish the regular season against Mount Everett on Friday.
