Potash Pitches Pittsfield Past Hoosac Valley

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Hunter Potash struck out six and scattered seven hits Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield baseball team to a 9-0 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Ian Benoit and Carter Matthews each went 2-for-4 at the plate, and Marco Dinicola doubled for the Generals, who compiled 10 hits.

 

Cole Deroches went 3-for-4 for Hoosac Valley (0-4), which goes to Lee on Thursday.

 

Pittsfield (2-3) is at East Longmeadow on Wednesday.
