Harrington Has Three Hits, Pittsfield Wins in Extra Innings
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Griff Manns hit a two-run single to highlight a four-run eighth inning Friday as the Pittsfield baseball team beat Springfield Central, 8-4.
Hayden Harrington went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in and two runs scored, and Marco DiNicola doubled with two RBIs as the General won their fourth straight game and improved to 5-2 this spring.
Hunter Potash pitched four innings of scoreless relief to earn the win. He scattered five hits and struck out one.
Pittsfield travels to face Westfield on Saturday.
