Generals Belt Out Four Homers in Win at Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. – Four different Pittsfield hitters homered in a 17-hit attack Friday as the Generals beat Wahconah, 14-2, in six innings.
 
Jason Codey, Connor Devine, Morrie Fried and Roshan Warriar each hit a home run as Pittsfield won its second straight game and its 10th game of the spring to ensure a spot in the state tournament.
 
Warriar and Fried each went 3-for-5. Warriar drove in a team-high four runs. Ben Jacob was 3-for-5, and Devine went 2-for-3 with a homer, a double and three RBIs.
 
Cam Harrington and Camden Zerbato split time on the mound for Pittsfield, allowing a run apiece and each striking out five in three innings of work.
 
Wahconah’s James Rabuse hit a solo home run, and Braedyn Melle doubled in a run in the loss.
 
Wahconah (10-5) goes to Drury on Saturday.
 
Pittsfield (10-5) hosts Mount Everett on Saturday.
