Jayder Raifstanger Homers, Drives in Seven in Win

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Jayder Raifstanger went 3-for-3 with a home run and seven RBIs Friday to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to a 9-5 win over Granby.

 

Jack Bissaillon went 3-for-4 and scored a run, and Ely Cormier was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs in a 10-hit Spartan attack.

 

Arthur Labrie and Collin Parker split time on the mound.

 

Labrie struck out six and allowed just three earned runs in 4-⅓ innings of work to get the win.

 

Parker threw 2-⅔ innings of scoreless relief, also striking out six.

 

Monument Mountain (8-0) goes to Mount Everett on Sunday.
