Luf Leads Monument Mountain Past Mount Everett

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Gus Luf went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a pair of RBIs Tuesday to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to an 11-0 win over Mount Everett.
 
Dom Velasco went 3-for-4 in a 14-hit attack for the Spartans.
 
Luf also went the distance on the mound, striking out eight and allowing just two hits in the five-inning win.
 
Jacob Kreis and Sean Warren had those hits for Mount Everett (3-2), which hosts Athol on Wednesday.
 
Monument Mountain (3-1) hosts Mount Greylock on Friday.
