Wojtkowski Pitches Mount Greylock Past Spartans

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Cole Wojtkowski scattered seven hits and allowed one earned run to pitch the Mount Greylock baseball team to a 12-4 win over Monument Mountain on Thursday.

 

Wojtkowski struck out four and walked just one in the complete game win.

 

Cal Messina led Mount Greylock’s 11-hit attack, going 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. Phil Guest doubled, and Brandon Condon went 2-for-4 and scored three times.

 

Graham Herrick went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead Monument Mountain.

 

The Spartans (4-9) host Southwick on Friday.

 

Mount Greylock (13-3) goes to Pittsfield to play St. Joseph on Friday.
