Salvatore Powers Wahconah Past Monson

MONSON, Mass. – Owen Salvatore doubled, tripled and drove in a pair of runs Wednesday to lead the Wahconah baseball team to an 8-1 win over Monson.

 

Charlie Wendell earned the win on the mound, striking out 10 and allowing no earned runs in 6-⅔ innings of work.

 

Patrick McLaughlin went 2-for-4, and six different players had a hit in an eight-hit Wahconah attack.

 

Wahconah finishes the regular season 8-10 and learns Thursday who it will meet in the Western Mass tournament.
