Longmeadow Baseball Tops Wahconah

LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Nick Medeiros went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs Wednesday to lead the Longmeadow baseball team to a 6-2 win over Wahconah.

 

Longmeadow scored three in the bottom of the fourth to open up a 5-1 lead.

 

Ben West went 1-for-2 with a walk and scored a run to lead Wahconah, which got singles from Owen Salvatore, Patrick McLaughlin, Matt Kinser and Owen Alfonso.

 

Ethan Orsini started on the mound and went four innings before Patrick McLaughlin finsued up. They struck out eight and allowed four earned runs.

 

Wahconah (1-3) hosts Drury on Friday.
