Wahconah Baseball Falls at Soutwick

SOUTHWICK, Mass. -- Nate Goodwin went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs Monday to lead the Southwick-Tolland baseball team to a 4-1 win over Wahconah in the first round of the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.

 

Ari Labrecque threw six innings, scattering four hits, to earn the win on the mound for the sixth-seeded Rams (10-5).

 

Wahconah (6-8) got a 2-for-4 day at the plate from Owen Salvatore and a double from Shane Bernardo.

 

Bernardo also went the distance on the mound, allowing just two earned runs.
