Frazier Saves Wahconah Win at Mohawk Trail
BUCKLAND, Mass. -- Caden Frazier went to the mound with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the seventh and got his man swinging on three pitches to secure a 4-3 Wahconah win over Mohawk Trail on Monday.
Mohawk rallied for all three of its runs in the seventh before Kyle Lee got the first two out and Frazier slammed the door to make a winner of Gabe Verdi (6 innings, one earned run).
Wahconah won with just two hits, a double by Jake Gai and a single by Joe Woronick.
Woronick stole three bases and Gai stole a pair as Wahconah went 8-for-10 on the basepaths. Gai, Anthony Dondiego and Bob Archambault each drove in a run.
Wahconah (5-5) hosts Pittsfield on Wednesday.
