Cowdrey Homers Twice for Wahconah Baseball in Road Win

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Ty Cowdrey went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs Tuesday to lead the Wahconah baseball team to an 8-3 win over Hampshire Regional.

 

Ethan Forfa went 2-for-3 with a double, and Trip Verdi drove in three runs for Wahconah.

 

Will Genaway got the win on the mound, going five innings and striking out seven. Pat Butler finished up with two innings of shutout relief.

 

Wahconah (11-4) goes to Taconic on Wednesday.
