Rabuse Leads Wahconah into Semi-Finals

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – James Rabuse went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles at the plate and pitched the Wahconah baseball team to a 4-3 win over Belchertown in the Western Massachusetts Class B quarter-finals.

 

Rabuse helped his own cause by driving in a pair of runs.

 

On the mound, he went the distance, striking out seven and walking two.

 

Ethan Orsini singled and scored a run, and Lucas Wildrick went 2-for-3 with an RBI and scored a run for Wahconah, which went up, 4-0, in the top of the fourth.

 

Fifth-seeded Wahconah (14-5) moves on to Thursday’s regional semi-finals at No. 1 Taconic, an 8-1 winner over South Hadley on Monday.
