Hoosac Valley Baseball Edges Lenox for Second Straight

LENOX, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley’s John Krol scattered six hits Saturday to earn a 6-2, complete-game win over Lenox.

 

Krol helped his cause by earning three walks at the plate -- one more walk than he allowed on the mound -- and scoring twice.

 

Henry Sniezek went 2-for-4 with a double, and Cole Desroches went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs to lead a seven-hit Hurricane attack.

 

Jett Steinman and John Fielding each went 2-for-3 for Lenox.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-4) takes a two-game winning streak into Monday night’s rematch against Lenox (3-3) at Renfrew.
